Ontogeny, Phylogeny, Evolution

  • What does "phyletic" mean?

    The museum's name is derived from phylogenesis—the evolutionary history of all living organisms. Ernst Haeckel introduced this term.

  • Ontogeny and Phylogeny

    Ontogeny is the individual development of an organism. This term also originates from Ernst Haeckel, who postulated a causal connection between ontogeny and phylogeny.

Open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Sunday and public holidays:
Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Closed on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1 and on public holidays that fall on a Monday.
