Please always inform Bas and Dorothee via email about any days you want to take off and add the confirmed dates to the Google Calendar as "XYZ on vacation."
Each staff member at Jena University gets 30 paid vacation days per year, excluding weekends and public holidays. Keep a few days reserved for the period between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, as they must be taken offpdf, 196 kb · de. Unused days can be taken until March of the following year; after that, they expire. Dorothee will track your vacation days, and feel free to ask Dorothee if you're unsure of how many you have left.

A few days off (less than a week)
Please send Bas and Dorothee an email to inform us about your days off and add them to the VEO Google Calendar as " XYZ on vacation." Ensure that your project or courses are not impacted and inform your project team or lab about your absence.

Longer holidays
For longer holidays (5 days or more), please inform Bas and Dorothee additionally at least one month in advance.
