Communicating illness
Accidents on the way to and from work are treated as occupational accidents, just like accidents during work. Please ensure that essential information (What?, When?, Where?) is documented accurately and ask Sandra to send a ticket to the HR Service Desk. If necessary, consult the medical officer(Amtsarzt).

Feeling unwell
For all absences of up to three days (e.g., headaches, cold), we don’t require a doctor’s note. Please inform Bas, Dorothee, and your office‘s colleagues via e-mail on day one if you need a day or two off to recover, and let us know when you're feeling better and ready to return to work.

If you're sick for more than three days, please consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis and get a medical certificate. Inform Bas, Dorothee, and your office‘s colleagues via e-mail on day one that you're unwell, and keep us updated on when you expect to return to work.
