Delays/outage of office hours due to staff changes: After a longer period of illnesses we will now start over again with full staff capacity. We kindly ask for your understanding for still occuring delays in proceeding documents that were submitted in February/the first half of March.
Furthermore, we herwith inform that Mrs Hesse is leaving the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena at the end of this months. Thus, the management of the examination office will be temporarily transferred to Mrs Döhler from on 01 April 2023 onwards. Office hours by phone will furthermore being offered; individual appointments need to be cancelled temporarily. In case of questions please contact the responsible staff member first, or contact us by phone during the office hours. Alternatively, you are welcome to get in contact via mail. E-mail requests shall furthermore addressed to fbw-studium@uni-jena.de. We need to ask for your understanding for delays in answering requests and applications during this transition phase.
Thus, please do actively use our FAQs as well as the newly designed Friedolin FAQExternal link, read out the messages of the exam office carefully, please make sure to completely apply for your classes (apply for modules) as well as examinations (apply for exams), regularly check for changes in "My exams" in your Friedolin. concerning e-mail-communication and multiple sent requests:
All staff members generally have unrestricted access to all of the above e-mail addresses at all times. In the case of stand-in, it is therefore sufficient to use the e-mail address of the staff member responsible for you / or your concern as usual. In the event of stand-in, the mailbox of the deputized colleague will be checked and processed on a regular basis.
We therefore ask you to send messages only once. If you do not receive an answer within a reasonable processing time (depending on your request: usually 7-14 days), please remind us again of your request. Please refrain from sending your request to several staff members at the same time. This will help us to process your request as quickly as possible in our day-to-day business. Thank you for your support and understanding.
